Reveal your natural radiance from within.

WHAT IS FACIAL ACUPUNCTURE

Close-up of a person touching their neck with a gold ring on their finger, showing a mole on the skin.

Ancient wisdom.
Visible results.

Facial acupuncture is a non-surgical, non-toxic treatment rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Unlike injectables or fillers, it works with your body's own healing intelligence.

Ultra-fine needles are placed strategically on the face, scalp, and body to stimulate collagen production, improve micro-circulation, relax facial tension, and regulate your qi — your body's vital energy — for results that are natural, gradual, and lasting.

  • 100% natural — no toxins, no downtime, no surgery

  • Treats the whole person, not just the symptom

  • Results improve progressively over a course of treatment

  • Safe for all skin types and tones

  • Complements conventional skincare routines

YOUR JOURNEY

How facial acupuncture works

Each session builds on the last. Most clients notice visible improvement after 5–7 treatments, with optimal results typically achieved in a course of 10–12 sessions.

01

CONSULTATION

A thorough intake assessing your skin, health history, constitution, and goals. We design a treatment plan tailored to you.

02

BODY POINTS

Needles are placed on body acupuncture points to balance your system, reduce stress hormones, and support skin health from within.

03

FACIAL NEEDLING

Ultra-fine needles are placed at wrinkles, sagging areas, and acupuncture points on the face, creating micro-traumas that signal collagen repair.

THE SCIENCE OF BEAUTY

What facial acupuncture treats

Research-backed and rooted in 3,000 years of clinical tradition, facial acupuncture addresses both cosmetic concerns and the underlying imbalances that cause them.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Facial needling stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, softening expression lines and crow's feet naturally over time.

Acne & Breakouts

Regulates sebum production, reduces inflammation, and addresses hormonal and digestive root causes of acne through body system balancing

Skin Tone & Texture

Improved micro-circulation delivers oxygen and nutrients to skin cells, resulting in a more even, luminous complexion and reduced hyperpigmentation.

Puffiness & Dark Circles

Enhances lymphatic drainage and addresses kidney and liver qi deficiency patterns that contribute to under-eye puffiness and discoloration.

Facial Lifting & Firming

Strategic point stimulation improves muscle tone in the cheeks, jawline, and brow area, creating a natural lifted appearance without injectables.

Stress & Tension

Releases deeply held tension in the forehead, jaw, and temples. Most clients report profound relaxation — some fall asleep mid-treatment.

QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Frequently asked questions

  • The needles used are extremely fine — much thinner than hypodermic needles. Most clients describe a mild tingling or warmth. The majority find it deeply relaxing and fall asleep during treatment.

  • There is virtually no downtime. Mild redness at needle sites may occur and typically fades within an hour. Occasional light bruising is possible but rare. You can return to work immediately after your appointment.

  • Many extended health benefit plans in Canada cover acupuncture treatments performed by a Registered Acupuncturist. We provide receipts for direct submission. Please check your plan details.

  • After a full course, results typically last 3–5 years with monthly or quarterly maintenance sessions. Lifestyle factors such as sleep, hydration, and stress management also play a significant role.

  • Some clients notice a glow after their first session. Significant changes to skin tone, texture, and fine lines typically emerge after 5–7 sessions. A full course of 10–12 treatments is recommended for lasting results.

  • Facial acupuncture works gradually with your body's natural processes and improves overall health alongside appearance. It carries no risk of migration, overfilling, or unnatural expression. Results are subtler but systemic and sustainable.

  • Facial acupuncture is not recommended during pregnancy, if you have a bleeding disorder, pacemaker, active skin infection, or recent Botox/filler injections (wait 4 weeks). A full intake at your first visit ensures it's right for you.

  • Absolutely. Facial acupuncture pairs beautifully with facial massage, gua sha, herbal skincare, and conventional treatments. We advise waiting 2 weeks after chemical peels or laser resurfacing.
