The laser that works for every skin tone
The Aerolase Neo Elite uses a proprietary 650-microsecond Nd:YAG 1064nm laser pulse — a unique pulse duration that delivers energy so quickly that heat does not build up in the skin. This makes it exceptionally safe and comfortable for all Fitzpatrick skin types, including darker tones where conventional lasers carry significant risks.
Unlike traditional Q-switched or long-pulse lasers, the Aerolase's ultra-short pulse duration allows it to selectively target chromophores — melanin, hemoglobin, and water — without damaging surrounding tissue. The result: highly effective treatment with minimal discomfort and virtually no downtime.
At Oak Skin in Burnaby, the Aerolase Neo Elite is our primary laser platform — used across a wide range of skin concerns with consistently outstanding results.
